As you may have heard, the City of Toronto has canceled our diamond permits for the duration of the municipal workers' strike. We have contacted CUPE Ontario and CUPE local 416 who have assured us that playing on the diamonds does not constitute crossing the picket lines. Games will continue as scheduled as long as all diamonds remain in a safe and playable condition, however washroom facilities as well as garbage bins will not be available for use.
